• Spaces & Folders: Simple hierarchy (Space → Folder → Document) and fast full-text search without requiring you to design an entire database architecture first.
• Zero-Friction Sharing: Keep spaces internal, publish clean public docs, or share password/token-gated client links without forcing readers to create accounts.
• Bring Your AI: Open REST APIs and native MCP servers let external tools and AI coding assistants read and write knowledge directly without paying for marked-up AI subscriptions.

The Anti-Workspace Focus #

WeWrote deliberately stopped before becoming an everything app. We don't do project management, databases, CRM, whiteboards, or team chat.

By keeping the product opinionated and focused purely on company knowledge, we keep the experience fast, clean, and radically simpler than traditional enterprise wikis.

What's Next #

WeWrote is in active development. The core document editor, public reader, multi-space isolation, full-text search, and Markdown storage engine are live.
